THE EXHIBITION
An unmissable 20,000 square foot immersive art exhibition by Squidsoup, offering a unique experience for visitors. Installations utilise a combination of Light, Sound, and Technology to create a fully immersive environment. Beyond Submergence aims to take visitors on an evocative journey that engages the senses. The perfect day out for those looking for things to do near Bristol for all, art enthusiasts and families alike.
Beyond Submergence is a guided experience. Meaning visitors are led through the experience but are free to explore the stunning display of light and sound installations on their own. The experience will last for a minimum of 45 minutes, but visitors are welcome to stay in the space for as long as they would like.
THE VENUE
The venue aims to provide visitors with a wonderful selection of food options wherever possible! Visitors can make the most of the cafe bar in Propyard’s Crane Room, serving up a selection of delicious cakes, pastries and coffee, as well as a fantastic choice of beers, spirits and soft beverages. During busier periods, you can also find a selection of street food vendors in the Courtyard.
The Courtyard features stretch tents, an outside container bar, alongside two container kitchens offering a range of street food choices, all with easy access to the Crane Room. If you are organising a large event gathering Propyard is happy to work with you to provide menus, from high quality canapes, street food, buffet or seated dining experiences, we work to ensure you have the best experience for your event. Get in touch if you would like more information.

We encourage people to leave the car behind as much as possible and walk, cycle or use public transport to get to the venue, but for those that really can’t the closest car park is Temple Meads Train Station, just a 10 minute walk away. Alternatively you can park at the Bristol Fruit Market off Albert Crescent for a fee, then a 10 minute walk up Albert Crescent and left onto Feeder Rd to Propyard. Information on getting here is available here.
Propyard is a Dog friendly venue, although we don’t recommend dogs are taken into the exhibition due to the reduced light and increased sounds, unless its a guide dog.
Toilets are accessible in the Courtyard should you need to access them before or after the exhibition. If you need to use the toilet during the exhibition, please alert a steward who can safely guide you out of the exhibition space.
