Entry for children four years and under is free – however, they still require a ticket. Children should be kept with their guardians at all times. If your child experiences sensitivity to light or sounds, we advise you to bring suitable eyewear and ear defenders.

We strongly recommend booking your ticket to experience Beyond Submergence in advance. The exhibition will take place at Propyard, in Bristol. Tickets will be sold as timed sessions to prevent the exhibition space from becoming crowded.

There are time slots available every 30 minutes, starting from 9:30 am. Please note the venue closes 60 minutes after the last session.

Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your time slot. When you arrive at the venue, one of our on-site attendants will explain how the exhibition experience will work. They can also answer any questions you may have on the day. For any questions you may have now, please visit our FAQ page. The installations are situated in dark spaces, with bright lights & sounds. We recommend wearing appropriate ear and eye defences if you experience sensitivity to lights or sounds.

Off-peak sessions run from Monday to Thursday . Peak sessions will run from Friday to Sunday

GROUP BOOKINGS

Experience “Beyond Submergence” as a group. A fun day out for friends and families, as well as a one-of-a-kind offering for team events and company trips. Group bookings are available for parties with a minimum of 10 people, and a maximum of 100. We will be happy to discuss any group booking enquiries you may have in more detail, including for private events and for larger groups, please get in touch with our team,

EDUCATIONAL BOOKINGS

Sessions for school trips and students will take place during mornings, from Monday - Friday. We are proud to be able to offer special prices for groups of school children, from primary, secondary to further education, get in touch to discuss

SENSORY SENSITIVE SESSIONS

QUIET / SEN / TODDLER

For individuals who experience sensory processing sensitivity, we invite you to join our Sensory Sensitive Sessions. Sessions are every Wednesday at 9:30 am and 5:30 pm; and at 10am on the last Sunday of each month.

Allocated sessions cater to those who require more space or a slightly less busy environment. Sessions will have lower levels of sound and increased light as all pieces of the exhibition will be on at the same time.

These sessions are open to the families, siblings, friends, and caregivers of those who may benefit from a Sensory Sensitive Session, all require tickets. Carers accompanying them do not require a ticket. Carers should be able to meet the needs and assist the person they are accompanying in the event of an emergency. Just book a ticket for yourself as normal and send through your booking confirmation to custcare@skiddle.com and they will arrange a carer ticket to be sent to you.

Toddlers are also invited to this session as they will be able to explore the space with more ease.
